Larysa YevhenivnaFund helper, knows her personallyShe devoted almost her whole life to children and school. 48 years of work experience, first as a primary school teacher, and then, in retirement, she kept working at the same school as a caretaker. For her the school long ago became not just a workplace but a part of life, where decades passed in care for children and the people around her.
She is a widow. And this year she suffered another terrible loss and buried her son. This pain has strongly affected both her emotional state and her health. Today her granddaughter remains her greatest support and joy.
After a heart attack she was given disability group 2 and suffers from cardiovascular insufficiency. The woman is also fighting cancer, which needs constant treatment, monitoring and a large amount of medicine.
Despite all the trials, she has not lost her love of life and of people. She loves to cook and each time tries to treat guests to something tasty. For her it is a way of showing care and warmth even when she herself is struggling.
Most often she asks not for herself “something extra” but for the essentials: blood pressure medicine and eye drops, without which it is hard for her to manage every day.
For her, the fund's help is not only support in difficult life circumstances but also a feeling that there are people nearby who care about her fate.
