Where will my money go?
One month of care for one person costs ≈ $111: groceries, prescription medicine, everyday essentials. Your gift becomes part of that amount. If you choose “Where most needed”, the money goes where the least has been raised this month.
How much of my gift goes to running the fund?
Part of the gifts goes on what the help cannot arrive without: transport, communication, bank fees. We do not name an exact share: we will not invent a percentage in advance. We provide the fund's annual financial statements on request, and they show the actual amounts.
How will I know the help arrived?
Help for your person is delivered by hand by a fund helper who has their own page on the site and photographs every delivery: what was bought, for whom and when. You can see your own gifts in your donor account, and we provide the fund's annual financial statements on request.
Can I cancel monthly support?
Yes, at any time and without explanation. Sign in to your donor account with your email, no password, and cancel there with one button. Whatever has already gone to help stays with the person.
Whom exactly do you help?
Lonely pensioners whose pension is less than their daily needs. Each one is personally known to a fund helper who visits them and sees the conditions with their own eyes. We do not add people from other organisations' lists and we do not publish anyone without consent.
