Mrs. Raisa's story

All her life she was a hard-working, caring and hospitable woman who loved her home and family and knew how to create comfort in any conditions.

Even now, despite her advanced age and health problems, Raisa Borysivna remains a true housewife. She loves to cook, especially pancakes, and is always glad when someone brings her groceries, because then the aroma of a freshly made dish returns to her home.

Life has not been easy for her. Her pension is only ≈ $44, which barely covers the essentials. She also has serious eyesight problems, sees very poorly and needs an operation. Despite this, she tries to stay cheerful, takes the necessary medicine every day and does not lose faith.

Mrs. Raisa is known for her sincerity: when we meet she always wishes us health and peace and speaks warmly, “because you are our children too”. In these simple words is all her kindness, her motherly care and her big heart.
