Valentyna Tarasivna worked honestly all her life and is used to relying only on her own strength. For 38 years she worked as a machine operator at a tobacco factory; the work was physically exhausting and demanded great endurance and responsibility.

Today the greatest trial for Valentyna Tarasivna has become her health. She has serious diseases of the hip joints; one joint has already been replaced in a complex operation, and the other also needs surgery. Because of constant pain it is hard for her to move around and to do even ordinary household tasks.

In addition, Valentyna Tarasivna suffers from diabetes and asthma, which require constant treatment, medicines and regular medical monitoring.

Her pension is very small, so after paying for the essentials there is often not enough money for proper treatment or for basic daily needs.

Despite all the difficulties, she remains a very sensitive and friendly person. She always sincerely thanks us for help, attention and a kind word, because for her this is no less important than material support.

Today Valentyna Tarasivna needs the support of caring people, help with medicine and groceries, and the chance to receive the treatment she needs, which will help her at least partly return to a more normal life without constant pain.
