Mrs. Nadiia, 71

Nadiia Mykhailivna has 37 years of continuous work experience behind her. She worked 17 years at a cotton-spinning factory. Then life forced her to work as a sales assistant, a cleaner, a building caretaker. She worked for the good of her family. But then tragedy struck: her husband and son passed away. And Nadiia Mykhailivna was left alone with her problems.

After the grief she went through her health worsened, with a severe form of osteoporosis. Now she has to have expensive calcium infusions every year. She also has problems with the cardiovascular system and takes medicine to ease pain. A great deal of her small pension goes on all this, and very little is left for living. Yet despite the troubles, Nadiia Mykhailivna has not lost her love of life. A very sensitive, compassionate woman. She will always come to help. She believes in people's goodness and good deeds.
