She worked at a factory for 28 years, honestly, responsibly and unafraid of hard work. All her life she was used to relying only on herself and doing her job conscientiously, never thinking that one day her health might take away the chance to live a full life.
Today her everyday life is a constant struggle with illness and physical pain. She has arthritis, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and serious problems with the musculoskeletal system. In addition, her eyesight is gradually worsening, so even simple everyday tasks are becoming more and more difficult.
Because of her health, most of her life now passes between home, medicine and the constant need to economise on the essentials. The meagre pension does not cover even basic treatment and the necessary medicines, without which she feels even worse.
Despite everything, she tries to hold on and not lose her dignity.
