Mrs. Neonila's story

Neonila Hryhorivna worked honestly all her life, with more than 40 years of work experience. She gave many years to work at a radio plant, working as an assembler, an inspector and an engineer. She built the future of her family and her country, sparing neither strength nor health.

But the years of hard work have taken their toll. Today Neonila Hryhorivna has serious health problems: her eyesight has worsened (operations on both eyes are needed), she is troubled by sclerosis of the heart and vessels, and she has to move about on two sticks. The pension is catastrophically short of what she needs for medicine, treatment and basic needs.

She has been left alone with her difficulties and has to fight every day: for her health, for a dignified life, for hope.
