Mrs. Olha's story

Olha Volodymyrivna devoted 30 years of her life to others. As a social worker, she brought care every day to those who were lonely, sick and abandoned. Her gentle hands brought bread and medicine, and also sincerity, understanding and human warmth. She did not just do a job, she served with her heart.

Today Olha Volodymyrivna lives very modestly. She has disability group 2, osteoporosis, hypertension and heart failure. Her pension is quite small, and most of it goes on utilities, which is especially hard in winter. Medicine to support her heart often remains out of reach.

But despite fatigue, pain and loneliness, she does not lose her tenderness. She always opens the door with a smile and thanks us sincerely, as if we were bringing not bags but a ray of light. It is not only bread that matters to her, but presence. That is why every visit of ours is for her like a breath of life.
