She worked and did her job honestly for more than 50 years of her life. She started as a civil engineer at an asphalt-concrete plant, and later worked in a general directorate for servicing embassies. Her life was always connected with responsibility, discipline and daily work.
It so happened that she lived all her life alone, with neither husband nor children. But even without a big family beside her she kept working, holding on and overcoming life's difficulties on her own.
For many years she fought diabetes, and after a complicated spinal operation she was left with a disability. But the hardest trials were still ahead.
In May 2025, because of her serious state of health, a lower limb was amputated. After that her life changed completely. Today she has limited legal capacity and practically cannot meet her basic needs on her own.
Without outside help it is very hard for her to cope even with simple daily things. Only a caring neighbour and the support of the fund remain by her side, people who are now a real support and hope for her.
Despite all the difficulties, she values any attention, help and human warmth very much. For a person who for many years has been left alone with life, this has special meaning.
