Nina Vasylivna worked for 48 years as a manager at a sanatorium, cared for people and gave them care and warmth.
Today her heart is torn between pain and prayers. Her elder son defends Ukraine at the front. She lost the younger one in an accident… A grandson remains, whom Nina Vasylivna is raising alone, being not only his grandmother but also his official guardian.
She has disability group 3. She has almost lost her sight, her legs hurt so much that she cannot take a step without tears, arthrosis, hypertension, weakness. But despite everything, she does not complain. Every day she prays to God for her children, for her grandson, for peace.
Her eyes are always in tears… But they hold both tenderness and dignity. When we come, she is glad, thanks us and bows her head in gratitude.
