Valentyna Opanasivna has 27 years of work experience. All her life she worked honestly and conscientiously: first as a meat product sorter at a processing plant, and then, at a hazardous enterprise, a radio-measuring plant, as a fitter. Her work was hard, but she never complained, because she understood that she was doing it for her family.
Unfortunately, fate has tested Valentyna Opanasivna cruelly. Her husband died after a serious illness. Later a terrible misfortune took her daughter too, cancer. From constant stress and worry the woman developed serious health problems. Today she suffers from hypertension, has to take medicine to regulate her sleep and to calm her, and constantly takes thyroid medication.
She lives modestly on a small pension that critically falls short even of the treatment she needs. But despite all the hardship, Valentyna Opanasivna remains a sincere and bright person, always grateful for any help.
