Mrs. Liudmyla's story

She worked as a confectioner for 35 years; golden hands that once created sweet masterpieces now tremble with pain.

After a serious fracture Liudmyla Arsentiivna can barely move. The disease of the musculoskeletal system constantly reminds her of itself, and every step comes with pain.

But it is even harder in her soul. A year ago the war took one of her sons. Since then she seems to have faded. In her eyes is a quiet, deep sorrow that cannot be put into words.

She is holding on, but it is very hard for her.

Not from a lack of strength, but from an excess of pain. Let us help her not to be alone with this sadness and illness. A drop of warmth, great support for someone who endures in silence.
